The hourly rate can be associated with the Category, Client, or Project list.   In this example, when defining Categories (select CategoriesΓǪ from the Edit menu), you may enter the associated hourly rate for the category.  However, if you change the association to the Client or Project list, then you may need to assign new hourly rates to the different job list.   For example, if you change the association from Category to Client, select ClientΓǪ from the Edit menu to assign hourly rates to the Client list.  If you decide later to set the preference association back to the Category list, the hourly rate association for the categories is preserved.
